Day 363 of '10:
Winter Break '10-'11, Week 2, Day 12:
*Currently listening to: Bigmouth Strikes Again - The Smiths
I spent a good amount of my day by myself. I talked to Katie for a good while on the phone and used the computer way too much until I got really over it and decided to return my Trainspotting DVD to Blockbuster. I thought, might as well because I'm there, I should go visit Goodwill to see if there is anything worth buying. I looked at the CD and didn't find anything, but when I looked at the vinyl there was a lot of good stuff. I ended up going home with Stevie Wonder's Songs to the Key of Life and Simon and Garfunkel's Bridge Over Troubled Water for $3.50. I walked across the sprinkles of rain and drove back home.
I played the side with "Isn't She Lovely?" on Songs to the Key of Life until that side ran out, and then I decided to see what Alba was doing. She wasn't doing anything either so I ended up going over to her house.
We played two-player Scrabble as I went into her house. We played two rounds with Alba winning the first and me winning the second. We didn't settle the score, but instead, we decided to drive to Wal-Mart to see if we can buy something to do. As we got to Wal-Mart, we headed to the toy section for some board games and came across a box of puzzles. We thought that that would be a cool idea so we bought a 500 piece puzzle along with a drink and a package of Sour Patch Kids and got out. On the way home, Alba bought some carne asada fries to share and we got to completing our puzzle.
We got our puzzle going until Katie called to pick her up from Lexi's house. So I said goodbye to Alba and picked up Lexi's. Lexi and Katie showed me their painting they've been working on for the day as I came inside and we quickly made our way to Katie's house.
Cool.
peace.
